I went to the local AAFES and got a quote on changing the spark plugs in a 99 Chevy Astro(or Safari) van.  They wanted 3 hours of labor to get it done.  This is a very easy job that I think almost anyone could do so don't waste your money.  You just need the spark plug socket, ratchet, and a couple of wobble extensions for the plugs.  Now to get to the plugs you have to jack up the front, remove the wheels and the fender skirts on the front.  It took me an hour to complete this job, and saved a bunch of $ doing it myself.

Don't be ripped off, it is way to easy to complete yourself, or have a competent friend help you out.

Have you ever taken the dam tour at the Hoover Dam?  The dam tour takes you through the dam with some very friendly dam guides.  First they show you a dam movie, then you take the dam elevator down to see the dam pipes, and then another elevator ride to see the dam generators.  After that you take the dam elevator back up to the dam museum and the dam observation deck.  The first time we went had some awesome pictures, but those got lost with the dead memory card.  William was just getting over being sick this time so the pictures were not as good, but there is one decent one of him, and here it is. :-)

Our phone company in Germany has this really nice plan where you get unlimited calling to the states for 5euro.  This would be very handy to use for communicating with my wife.  Considering that I have a cell phone, and can't always get on the internet.  Now I have been back for almost two months, and do you think that she has added this cheap plan to our home phone so that she can call me when ever she wants without having to pay any extra?

Of course not, instead she blames me for not being able to talk enough because I can't be on the computer 24/7.  Even though when I do get on, she is out at the bars until 3 in the morning.  grrr, but somehow it's always my fault.

For about 7 years now, I have tried to get my wife to go to the gym and work out with me.  I have no idea why it is like that, I can't think of a reason.  While Meshelle was having her affair she said that she was going to work out with her 'friend' for which she would try and make it seem like she was working out with him(well I guess that can be considered a very short workout).  At that time I asked her why she would work out with him and not me.  She said that I made her feel self conscious about herself while working out.  Even though at the time we had never worked out together, but that was just another excuse for her behavior.

Well now after all of this time, I head on back to the states with my son to visit my friends and family and guess what happens.  Our neighbor Steph asks her to go to the gym with her, and she accepted.  So now my wife goes to the gym three times a week on top of what is required of her in the Army.  I am glad that she is working out now, but damn, what do I have to do to get her to work out with me?

Here are some things that I am going to look for in my next camera purchase.

1. SDHC memory cards(large capacity, cheap price, reader built into virtually all laptops)

2. Standard Mini USB connector(I hate having to carry yet another cable, keep it standard)

3. Uses Standard AA cells(pre-charged rechargables for the win, available everywhere, unlike when my special, only fits in one camera battery died during my helicopter flight into the grand canyon)

4. Large Optical Zoom(I don't use digital zoom because you sacrifice quality, I turn it off in the camera settings)

5. Image stabilization is a must(I don't carry a mono/bi/tripod with me everywhere)

6. Underwater housing available

7. Only need ~9 mega-pixels, more is nice if you want to zoom, crop a lot, or blow up a picture to cover your door :-)

The rest would be nice, but not 100% needed.
